Story
My Dad Douglas Chambers sadly passed away on 26th March 2020. Due to the current situation his funeral is limited to a small number of family members only. We will be meeting at Bridgeton Funeral Care, 517 London Road Glasgow on Tuesday 7th April at 3.30pm sharp and driving along London Road, past the Bridgeton Umbrella and on to Daldowie Crematorium for 4pm. If you are out for your daily exercise routine, heading home from work or heading to the shops we may see you on the road and you can pay your last respects with a clap or a wave, at least 2 metres apart and only if you are well and not at risk. Please do not hang around, as we know all too well the risks of this virus. Motor bikers also welcome, but please be careful as we do not want any unnecessary pressure on our NHS. The family ask that you do not send flowers or cards but instead donate to the British Lung Foundation using the link below Thank you for your words of support at this time and we look forward to getting together in the not too distant future to send the man off in the manner he deserves.Updates
